Air Handler Shutdown and Pressure Adjustment on 4th Floor from 7/25 to 7/29
On 7/25, the Hensel Phelps contractor shut down all air handler units on the 4th floor to test the pressure required to open the doors. However, the main air handler unit on the 4th floor failed to restart. With a major loss of air supply to the 4th floor, all room air differentials were affected. Positive-pressure rooms became less positive, and negative-pressure rooms became more negative as a result. Once the air handler was replaced on Monday, 7/29, the air pressures returned to their original range.
